For technical reasons not worth repeating, I fell off the face of the blogosphere. I'm back, or trying to be back. My apologies to anyone whose comments were lost or unpublished.
In addition to my practice of Psychiatry, I have written PsychEducation.org, a non-profit website which presents, in 10th-grade English, extensive information and references on complex topics in mental illness -- bipolar disorders, brain chemistry, important brain parts, and more. And there's a book version of the website from Mcgraw-Hill (2006) that makes reading 300 pages a little easier (but not free, like the website...).
